So What Am I doing?

These days have been busy with school in full swing, the House out of session (fortunately), and my progress in the IT world becoming all consuming, what do I have time for?

Well since my last entry a couple things have happened:

  • Haiete and I went to California, and Seattle, (there are some other states and cities that happened as well but not really worth mentioning)
  • I have had a couple of profound thoughts in economics, (working for the notorious GOV doesn’t pay much; what if you could measure inflation through people begging for money?) but nothing I am sure nobody else hasn’t come up with before
  • Started tooling around in the OSS world with Ubuntu (Wow open-source times are a changing!)on an old iBook G3 that I bought off eBay, Then I went and took the thing apart to goof around with a CF card IDE controller, in a word not so much but hey it made some neat pictures.

  • Started Classes, with my not so profound ecnomic thoughts I have started to be vastly more interested in the world of finance, namely personal finance and possibly investment banking

  • So I completely nerded-out in october and bought not only 1 but 2 MacMinis ohhh man they are great! As well I intalled and ran Apple’s boot camp along with Vista RC1, I will have some notes on that or the fiasco that it turned out to be.
  • Haiete and I got a kitty! Yes Creamsickle is a cute little rapscallian and there shall be more to come on this front.

while there is actually alot more that has happened here I will have to keep it brief in the interest of needing to do some other activities. Who knows maybe I will write more often!
